The Chorus performs numerous times throughout the school year, beginning with our Holiday Musical. We also participate in the Sing for Santa
event held at a Gwinnett Gladiators game in December.

For 5th grade students. A limited number of students are selected to
participate based on application and teacher recommendation. The selected students will work in teams to broadcast Ivy Creek's morning news
program, "Live on 5". Jobs include anchoring the news, operating cameras, running sound, operating PowerPoint. Exceptional behavior is required
of all news crew members.

| Media Center Helpers |
For 4th and 5th grade students. A limited number of students will be selected
based on an application, teacher recommendation, and performance during training. Students will perform a variety of tasks including shelving
books, making deliveries, light cleaning and assisting other students. Helpers meet one day per week during the school day for 20 minutes
according to teacher and student schedule, typically during TDPE. Exceptional behavior is required of all media helpers.

| radKIDS |
For 5th grade students. radKIDS is a DYNAMIC, FUN, PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT
program designed to teach kids personal safety skills along with self-esteem. Curriculum includes: physical resistance skills against abduction;
home, school, vehicle and out and about safety; internet safety; and good-bad- uncomfortable touch. radKIDS is a revolutionary bullying prevention
program. The curriculum is an 8 hour mandatory curriculum and an optional 2 hour simulation. We will partner with the Gwinnett County Police
Department to offer the 2 hour simulation. The radKIDS simulation is scheduled for April 16, 6:00-8:00 PM. Parents are encouraged to attend
the simulation. Fifth graders, come be one of the original radKIDS at Ivy Creek. Please visit
www.radkids.org for additional information. There will be a fee of $25 to participate in this
club. The cost includes a radKIDS T-shirt, a certificate with your photo and fingerprints and a bracelet.

| Readers Rally |
For 4th and 5th grade students. A limited number of students will be selected
to participate based on an application, teacher recommendation, and performance on homework assignment(s). Students are assigned to a group and
then meet weekly for 30 minutes during the school day with their group's coach and review a select number of books they've read. They practice
questioning and answering each other based on the contents of the book. In January, we have a school competition in which ten students are selected
to compete at the county Readers Rally Event.

For 1st through 5th grade students. Students learn social awareness skills such
as presenting themselves by using effective communication in social situations, addressing and welcoming guests, how to start and end conversations,
and being confident in appearance while focusing on successful first impressions. The students will have opportunities to apply their "newly"
learned skills throughout the year. We are excited to watch our student ambassadors develop leadership skills while participating in activities and
serving our school on special occasions.
